Beauty may be “in the eye of the beholder”, but it is also in the eye of that which is beheld.

I love using a slit lamp, used to examine the cornea, anterior chamber, and iris. Under magnification, one can see the multiple colors in many eyes, as well as the trabecular structure of the iris. I can show you photos of the iris, but I cannot adequately describe the intricate movements that come with changes in light exposure.

I will look as long as I can get someone else to sit still for it.
